ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS

The Neighborhood Energy Network (NEN)
Moving Toward Better Energy Solutions

A coalition of community, health, social justice, environmental justice and energy advocates seeking better energy solutions for our neighborhoods. NEN communities learn about the effects of the choices they make as to energy supply and usage, stimulate local action to use and access energy in more sustainable ways, and provide resources for such action.

The NEN is a growing grassroots network in which each participating neighborhood forms its own chapter and develops its own solutions. Each neighborhood is different and develops a different type of forum, as a way of bringing people together who are interested in finding and acting on better energy solutions. Working groups then continue to work on energy issues in their neighborhood.
