Home Improvement Business Examination Guide

The New York City Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA) licenses all individuals and businesses engaging in Home Improvement. Under the Rules of the City of New York (Title 6, Section 2-226), an applicant for a home improvement contractor's license or a salesperson's license must pass a written examination given by the DCA.
