What
if you show up to vote and election workers say you are not
registered?
1.
Make sure you are at the correct voting precinct. You can
check at My Polling Place www.mypollingplace.com/find.php
or call 1-866-OUR-VOTE for assistance.
2.
If you are at the correct polling place and officials claim
you are not registered, request a provisional ballot. It's your
right under the law. This website has information on provisional
ballots in each state:
www.electionline.org/site/docs/html/provisional_ballots.htm
3.
You should also call 1 (866) OUR VOTE IMMEDIATELY, from the
polling place, and let them know what is taking place, who you
are, and where you are located.

The
Center for American Progress
The Center for American Progress has a database project to chart
conservatives' dishonesty – and compare it with the truth.
In this database, each conservative quote will be matched against
well-documented facts, so that users can get a more accurate
picture of the issues. And they need your help. If they're
missing a lie or distortion you know of, please submit
an entry . If it checks out, they will gladly add it to the
database.

Voter
Guide (who represents you?)
New York City Campaign Finance Board
The CFB has three primary mandates: administering the Campaign
Finance Program, publishing the Voter Guide, and overseeing
the Debate Program. The Board is strictly nonpartisan, and by
law the mayor's and the speaker's two appointees must come from
different political parties. Board members serve staggered,
five year terms.

Votes
For Students
A non-profit, non-partisan get-out-the-vote organization. By
working with colleges and universities nationwide to obtain
directory information, VFS will e-mail students every tool needed
to cast an educated vote on November 5. These tools will include
voter registration and absentee ballot request forms, a voter
guide outlining candidates and issues, and lastly, directions
to the polling place. Votes For Students seeks to make the leaders
of tomorrow the participants of today.
